?Beautiful antique Japanese costume doll from the xxxx's or even earlier.
?16" tall. The base is 4 1/4" wide.
?She is on a music box stand, so that when she is turned, it would wind up the music box, and play a song on the brass cylinder.
?These were considered very high quality music boxes at the time.
? Music box is working very well.
Starting with her hair, it is adorned with tiny flowers and a dangling silver accessory ( called a BIRA_BIRA). Her body is cloth, and she is in a slight dance position. Her arms are flexible.
She holds a head dress. In excellent condition for her age.
Her total weight is 14 1/2 ounces or 420 grams.
